Cody Truett
Educator, performer, arranger, and music ministry leader overseeing NMC’s institutional direction, program development, faculty collaboration, and long-term academic vision.

Matthew Foss
Matthew Foss is a composer, educator, and arts administrator based in the DallasβFort Worth area. After spending nearly a decade as a touring musician and earning his bachelor’s degree in Nashville, Tennessee, he continued his education at Southern Methodist University, where he received a Master of Music in Composition and Music Theory Pedagogy.
As a composer, Matthew’s music has been performed internationally and commissioned by performers including Patrick Orr and Jacob Mayo. His work draws from a wide range of musical influences and reflects his passion for writing music that is engaging, expressive, and meaningful for both performers and audiences.
Matthew currently serves as General Manager of the Las Colinas Symphony Orchestra in Irving, Texas, where he works to strengthen the orchestra’s role in the community while supporting its artistic and organizational growth.
In addition to his work with the symphony, Matthew is committed to helping students of all ages and experience levels develop musical understanding, creative confidence, and disciplined musicianship.

Chris Patterson
Chris Patterson resides near Nashville, Tennessee, where he remains active in the music industry as a performer, clinician, session artist, composer, and educator. His musical diversity has led to work with Aretha Franklin, Canadian artist Johnny Reid, Lee Greenwood, The Dynamites, the Muzik Mafia, JoJo Hermann of Widespread Panic, and many others.
Chris has presented clinics and master classes at schools, universities, and drum events throughout the country. He has been featured in Modern Drummer magazine and has performed twice at the Percussive Arts Society International Convention, as well as at the Singapore Drum Festival and Day of Drums.
As a recording artist, Chris released Element, an album of original music that combines World, Jazz, Funk, and Electronica in a steel-pan- and percussion-centered musical journey.
As a composer, Chris works on projects for the film and television synchronization industry and has compositions available through Pan Ramajay Productions, including full steel-band arrangements and solo etudes for steel pan.
As an educator, Chris combines a background in education with years of professional musical experience. He has taught in universities and Kβ12 settings and has presented clinics and master classes for students around the country.
